Dynamical Relaxation in Non-Relativistic QED: Resonances and Metastable States

We study how stable excited states of bosonic particles coupled to a radiation field become decaying metastable states. Using complex dilation, perturbation theory, and the Feshbach map, we derive their energy shifts and decay rates.
